Jacqui Abrams, MS, BCBA
As Director of Columbia Northeast & West Columbia Clinics, Ms., Abrams provides program development, training, and supervision services for families in Northeast Columbia, South Carolina. She also provides supervision, training and support for other clinical staff and oversees the daily operations of the Northeast Columbia clinic.
In 2014 Ms. Abrams won the best professional poster award during NCABA conference for her research “Reduction of disruptive behaviors with implementation of a variation of the timeout ribbon procedure.”
Ms. Abrams completed her undergraduate studies at The Pennsylvania State University where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Studies. While at Penn State, she participated in a grant program advocating for children with autism and acting as a liaison between schools and families. Ms. Abrams then provided vocational counseling and placement services to clients with special needs.
In 2005, Ms. Abrams joined the staff at Rutgers University providing ABA therapy for adolescents and adults at the Douglass Developmental Disabilities Center. Ms. Abrams then worked with Community Services Group, Enhanced Treatment for Children in Pennsylvania.
During this time, she received her Master of Science degree from Nova Southeastern University in counseling with an emphasis on Applied Behavior Analysis. Ms. Abrams joined the Early Autism Project, Inc. in 2009. Ms. Abrams completed the required mentorship to become a BCBA under Christine Kozlek, BCBA.
